Does this system come with any kind of warranty?
Yes — Gemstone Lights is backed by an industry-leading warranty: a lifetime warranty on the LED lights themselves (rated for 50,000+ hours), a 10-year warranty on all system components, including power kits, controllers, cables, connectors, and track, and a 10-year Express Electric labour warranty covering the labour to correct any warranty-related installation issue. The system is designed to be serviceable, so individual lights or components can be replaced without needing to replace an entire section. Registration must be completed by the homeowner within 30 days of installation to activate coverage, and the warranty is transferable once if you sell your home.

Gemstone Lights was designed, developed, and founded in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Almost all of the products are built and assembled out of their Calgary Head Office and manufacturing facility.
What is the Life Expectancy of Gemstone Lights Track Lighting System?
The Gemstone Lights Track Lighting system uses the most cutting-edge LED technology available, allowing for a life expectancy of 50,000 hours. With average usage being 6 hours a day, the system is rated to last around 23 years!
What type of light does Gemstone Lights use?
Gemstone Light bulbs are RGBW (Red, green, blue, white). The white diode used in Gemstone Lights translates to a brighter more accurate rendering of color, a higher light transmission, seamless transition between colors, as well the ability to produce true warm and bright white light.
How are Gemstone Lights installed?
Each bulb is individually protected with a surge protector. These bulbs are then individually connected with waterproof connectors and mounted into the track system. The track is color matched to the existing soffit or fascia. It is fastened permanently to the soffit by sliding the one side of the track under the L-trim of the fascia and inserting a color matched screw in the other side. If the home has deep fascia that is proud of the soffit by more than 2 inches, we use what’s called a backtrack where the track is mounted on the back side of the deep fascia so that the lights are flush with the bottom of the fascia. In both cases and because of the location where the track is installed, the lights are protected from any wind, rain, and hail. No more ugly dangling wires. No more having to replace strands that get blown off by the wind or damaged by the hail.
How do I control my lights?
You can control your Gemstone Lights products all in one place using a cloud based iOS and Android app called the Gemstone Hub. From here you can set timers, create patterns, download preset folders, and so much more. With a wifi connection you can control your lights from around the globe!
